INITIATION
The telecommunication services develop very quickly in
the consumer field, with mobile telephony and Internet, but also in the
professional field.
The Business communications change also drastically with rise of the mobile
communication, high-speed data networking and Internet (Intranet, Extranet).
This course provides an overview of these new services of
telecommunication, the new embedded technologies.

The services and the telecommunications networks develop and evolve very
quickly in a context of increased competition and endless technological
progress.
The principal technological fields embraced by this
course are: mobility (GSM) and Internet
with important transformations in the network infrastructure (optics, DWDM,
GPRS), the access network (" unbundling ", ADSL, LMDS, UMTS), the
services (IP VPN, VoIP)
